Alberta, Canada - June 11, 2026 - Fillip Fleet, the Canadian-born digital fuel card and vehicle expense management platform, today announced the launch of its services in the United States, making its platform available to fleet-based businesses across North America for the first time. The expansion marks a major milestone for the Calgary-based fintech, which has rapidly grown its presence across Canada since launching in 2022.

Fillip's platform allows businesses to issue digital fuel cards to drivers instantly through a smartphone app. Drivers use Fillip cards for fuel and other fleet purchases, with contactless payments supported via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Through real-time data-enabled authorization, business owners and fleet managers gain visibility into every purchase, while secure digital cards eliminate the risks of physical card fraud and ensure data integrity at the point of sale - all paired with customizable spending controls and automated reporting.

Unlike traditional fleet card programs that require minimum vehicle counts, credit checks, and long-term contracts, Fillip was purpose-built for the millions of small and mid-sized businesses that have historically been underserved by legacy fleet card providers. With no setup fees, no vehicle minimums, and optional credit checks, businesses can set up and begin fueling vehicles within a day.

“When we started Fillip, we saw that small and medium sized businesses were being left behind by an industry built for large enterprises,” said Alice Reimer, CEO of Fillip Fleet. “Our growth across Canada proved the demand was real. Now, by bringing Fillip to the United States, we’re giving North American businesses of all sizes a modern, mobile-first way to manage fleet fuel and expenses, no matter where the road takes them.”

The Calgary-based company has expanded into the United States, making its digital fuel card and vehicle expense management platform available to small and midsize fleets across North America.

The U.S. launch follows a period of strong momentum for Fillip, including strategic partnerships with leading Canadian telecommunications and fuel retail brands, as well as participation in Visa’s Fintech Fast Track Program. The company’s platform is accepted anywhere Visa® payments are supported, giving drivers access to a broad network of fuel stations across both countries.

The expansion comes as demand for digital fleet payment solutions continues to accelerate across North America. With contactless payments becoming the standard at fuel pumps and businesses increasingly seeking real-time spend visibility, Fillip’s digital-first approach positions the company to serve a rapidly growing market on both sides of the border.

Fillip Fleet is available now for businesses in Canada and the United States. Businesses interested in learning more can speak with the Fillip team or sign up for an account in minutes.
